Why this course exists

Some conflicts aren't about the issue at all.

Most disputes respond to reasonable problem-solving. A small group of people bring a pattern that doesn't: all-or-nothing thinking, unmanaged emotions, extreme behaviors, and a preoccupation with blaming others. If you work with the public, clients, families, or a courtroom, you will meet this pattern again and again. Recognizing it early changes how you respond, and how well things go.
