Our commitment
High Conflict Institute is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to learn about and access our training, resources, and services regardless of how they browse the web.
Standard we aim for
We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines also helps make our website more usable for everyone.
What we do
Our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve accessibility include:
- Designing for sufficient color contrast and readable text.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Supporting keyboard navigation and clear focus indicators.
- Using descriptive page structure, headings, and landmarks for screen readers.
- Offering a skip-to-content link and respecting reduced-motion preferences.
- Reviewing accessibility as part of our regular site updates.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, certain third-party content — such as embedded forms, videos, podcast players, and translation tools — is provided by outside services whose accessibility we do not fully control. We continue to work with our providers and seek alternatives where we can. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can help and prioritize a fix.
